Sound Quality is poor on the paid version.
System spcecs: 2016 (mid 2015) MacBook Pro Retina AMD R9 M370X, etc.
Speaker: Bose SoundLink Bluetooth speaker III.
Equalizer: None or Boom2.
I have been using the Elmedia paid version lightly for a couple months and thought it was OK.
However, today i am watching a video lecture that is void of music and i have been distracted by the distorted voice quality presented by the Elmedia Video Player.
For a sound quality comparison i played the same lecture using Quciktime.
The difference is drastic.
I tried various audio preference configs within the app and in the mac sound settings but to no avail.
Recommendation:
Try the free version.
Load a voice only track.
Then compare the Elmedia sound quality to the built in Quicktime Player.
My Macbook experience may be an anomaly.
