Plays Video

Works fine for the video I needed to play.

very nice!

知名度は低いがmacならこれ一択。 音質、画質、機能、使いやすさが全て良い。 欠点はpro版の値段だけかなw

System spcecs: 2016 (mid 2015) MacBook Pro Retina AMD R9 M370X, etc. Speaker: Bose SoundLink Bluetooth speaker III. Equalizer: None or Boom2. I have been using the Elmedia paid version lightly for a couple months and thought it was OK. However, today i am watching a video lecture that is void of music and i have been distracted by the distorted voice quality presented by the Elmedia Video Player. For a sound quality comparison i played the same lecture using Quciktime. The difference is drastic. I tried various audio preference configs within the app and in the mac sound settings but to no avail. Recommendation: Try the free version. Load a voice only track. Then compare the Elmedia sound quality to the built in Quicktime Player. My Macbook experience may be an anomaly.

I can now play my flv files for free… A great software! The UI of this software is also fantastic. I will probably purchase the pro version in the future just to support those kind developers!

Doesn’t play Avi video files, enough said. The whole point of adding a player is to play files not native to mac, such as avi files, it does not play them.

This is one of the best and powerful media player. It supports any type of file, you can also load and manage subtitles. There is also feature to rotate your video. I like this video player very much. It’s easy to use and has nice interface.

Not a bad media player. The free offerings are sufficient for most users, and advanced features can be unlocked via in-app purchase. Played all the videos I tried without problem.

so i been using ths program alot. this is a great program hands down. I started with the free download. if you don’t do much than that is all you need. but i got the pro version since i do use it to it’s full extent. so pro is it will play every single video file. so perfect in every single way in that part. but con is that you don’t have any options for the subtitles. as in the subtitle is not automatically added with the video file, nor can you change the subtitle color. it just stays as a white on white rather than being able to make it black and white. what i mean is that the boarder of the subtitle. other than that its a great program. only if that can be changed a little bit it would be a five star

Garbage

This app is horrible. They are so nice to give one minute of streaming capability to apple tv. Don’t bother!

I have tried alot of Video Players over the years. Including VLC and DivX. The biggest difference I see with this one is the sound quality. Plays everything. Very Good quality. Easy to use.

I updated my laptop to the new macOS (macOS Sierra) and it is not working properly. When I turn fullscreen on, when it open into a new window, it is kind of a problem. When one episode gets over and I start a new one, a blank grey screen appears. It also sometimes doesn’t go to fullscree.

I find that for many MKV files, when I click around a file and skip around, the video becomes distorted until the frame completely changes. This doesn’t happen with any other media player on OS X and I wish El Media didn’t do this. If not for this, I would say it’s a really fantastic video player for your Mac!

This is a great app for watching movies, with a clean and easy to use interface.I have tried many video players on OS X.And Elmedia Video Player appears the best one.It works fast and smooth and even read broken video files. If you usually watch videos on macbook, you must download this app!

I downloaded this app to replace my old media player and I wasnt disappointed. This application can handle with ease any video format I throw at it. The interface is minimal and slick.

Once again Etima has promised something and not delivered, and that something in this case is downloads from ytube. If you go to the Etima website and read all of the things that this package in the pro version (in-app purchase) then included is that list is the ability to download videos from tube. Well, guess what; only the one you purchase from their website - for twice as much - will do that. The app from the apple store will not. And the video from this device is no better than that of VLC, which is completely free. Save your money - these guys are deceivers in the worst way.
